January Wrap-up & Book haul

JAN

In which, I blog about the books I read and bought last month.

Is it February already? Oh wow, how time flies by so fast; the first month of the new year has ended so, it’s time for my monthly wrap-up & book haul. This year, I’ll try my best to post my monthly wrap-ups and book hauls at the end of every month despite of my busy schedule at school. I really want to be more active in blogging this year and for the rest of my life.

WRAP-UP

I’m not going to lie when I say that I thought January will be a good reading month for me, take note of the word ‘thought’, because I read 2 books in one day. Then those 2 books turned three on the third day of the year; and then I read my final book during the last weeks of January, and that was it, the end of my reading career for the month of January.

The books I read this month are:

  1. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I rated this book 5 stars, you can read my mini review here.
  2. November 9 by Colleen Hoover. I also gave this book 5 stars. You can read my review in my blog, or in my Goodreads profile.
  3. Rhett by JS Cooper. I gave it 2 stars because it weirded me out.
  4. The Score by Elle Kennedy. I rated this book 4 stars. Read my review here or here.

BOOK HAUL

Would you believe me if I tell you that I only bought 3 books this month? Not bad for someone who’s on a book-buying ban. The books I bought this month are:

I’m pretty much proud of myself for not buying too much books this month. As a matter of fact, I promised myself to only buy 5 books per month, so far, I have done a great job, but it’s still the first month of the year, let’s see how I’ll do for the remaining 11 months.

How about you, how many books have you read and bought this month?

  1. I thought The Rose Society was such a great sequel, did not suffer from Second Book Syndrome whatsoever! Have fun with it 😀
