Desert Island Book Tag

Hello everyone! I was tagged by Always Opinionated Girl to do the Desert Island Book Tag.

I. WATER: A BOOK YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT

18692431I actually made some adjustments here. The initial book I chose for this category is The Bronze Horseman, but I thought that if I have to choose a book that  I can’t live without, I’d choose Everything, Everything book because it’s a happy read. Not that The Bronze Horseman is not a happy read, but it’s a bit depressing.

II. FOOD: A BOOK THAT IS A CLOSE SECOND ON YOUR FAVORITE LIST

63231041The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. It has become my favorite since the day I’ve read it. To be honest, it seems like this book is fit in all categories of this post but I really can’t live without it. I actually bought two different editions of it because I love it so much. You can read my review here.

III. SHELTER: A BOOK THAT MAKES YOU FEEL AT HOME AND SAFE

11178225

I’m debating whether to put Out of the Easy or The Sea of Tranquility here but I chose Out of the Easy because it is a historical fiction, and it’s just so good. This book is the reason why I developed a love for historical fictions.

Out of the Easy and The Bronze Horseman are my favorite historical fics.

IV. FLARE GUN: A BOOK YOU WOULD RECOMMEND TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T READ

1217100I know that this book is too heavy for a first-timer but I think that it’s just right to recommend Thirteen Reasons Why to someone who doesn’t read. Maybe because it’s the book that my non-bookish friends and I buddy read years ago. And I think that there’s something appealing about this book. Seems like everybody should read this to promote awareness about bullying.

V. FIRE MATCHES: A BOOK THAT WARMS YOUR HEART

14290364This book gave me all the feels. Champion is my favorite book in my favorite series. I can’t explain how much I love this book. The ending is the reason why it warmed my heart, it is a bittersweet ending.

VI. COMPASS: THE BOOK THAT DIRECTED TO YOUR LOVE OF READING

6339664Hush Hush is the book that made me love reading more. I mean, I’ve been reading since I was young but I only read joke books, then I gave this book a try and it was so wonderful! After this book, I read The Fault In Our Stars and then it was the start of my reading journey.

I’m tagging,

  1. Thanks so much tagging me! I’ve never seen this tag before. I’m excited to do it. Funny how the books you mentioned I either haven’t read or I don’t like haha. The only ones I love are Everything, Everything and Thirteen Reasons Why. They were such an amazing books!
